As required by State and Federal regulations, Cali Movers includes basic limited liability coverage at no extra charge for all our customers, offering protection at a rate of $0.60 per pound per item. This coverage is automatically part of your moving service.

Here's an example of how it operates:

• Suppose a 20-pound planter is damaged during the move, and you have chosen to stick with the basic limited liability coverage. Upon filing a claim, compensation would be calculated as follows: 20 lbs (weight of the planter) x $0.60 (rate per pound) = $12.00 total compensation.

While this basic coverage may suffice for less valuable items, it might not offer adequate protection for more precious belongings. That's why we've teamed up with BAKER MOVING INSURANCE, providing the option for Full Value Protection. Baker International has been offering competitive rates for over three decades.
